Warranty Terms and Conditions

  1. Warranty Coverage
    • This warranty applies to all flagstone paving products and precast walling products manufactured by Set-In-Stone, purchased after 1 November 2024.
    • It covers manufacturing defects for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase.
    • Manufacturing defects include:
      • Cracking or breaking due to manufacturing flaws.
      • Significant structural inconsistencies not attributable to external factors.
  2. Exclusions
    This warranty does not cover:
    • Improper Installation: Issues arising from poor sub-surface preparation or improper laying techniques.
    • Normal Wear and Tear: Includes surface weathering, erosion, and minor chipping.
    • Discoloration: Due to natural aging, exposure to sunlight, or environmental factors.
    • Damage Caused by External Factors: Such as heavy vehicle traffic, root systems, or natural disasters.
    • Improper Maintenance or Use: Use of harsh chemicals or failure to maintain the product as recommended.
    • Discounted or Reject Items: Products sold at a discount or as rejects are excluded from this warranty.
  3. Customer Responsibilities
    • The customer must ensure the sub-surface is adequately prepared before installation.
    • Proof of purchase and evidence of proper handling must be provided to claim the warranty.
  4. Claim Process
    • Any claim under this warranty must be submitted in writing within 30 days of identifying the defect.
    • The company reserves the right to inspect the site and request relevant documentation regarding the product’s handling and installation.
  5. Limitations of Liability
    • This warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of defective products at the company’s discretion.
    • The company is not liable for labor costs, transportation, or consequential damages resulting from the use or failure of the product.
  6. Acknowledgment
    • By signing the quote/invoice, the customer acknowledges acceptance of these warranty terms and conditions.
